Triple H’s New Year’s Resolution, RAW Events, More

— The weekend tour for WWE finishes today with a RAW house show in Oakland, California and a Smackdown show in Prince George, B.C., Canada. C.M. Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title in a Royal Rumble preview match is currently being advertised for WWE Raw. It will also have John Cena vs. Kane, a “special appearance” by Chris Jericho, and Brodus Clay in action as well. There have been no announced line-ups for the Smackdown shows. Right now, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, IC champion Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Hunico, Natalya, and Alicia Fox have been advertised.

— Speaking to Street and Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Paul “Triple H” Levesque reveals what he wants to accomplish personally and professionally in 2012. He says, “My resolution is to continue sharpening my business and corporate skills in my new role as EVP, talent. Although whenever the day-to-day grind of being a company executive gets to me, I still have the opportunity to jump into the ring and take my aggression out on a few unsuspecting opponents.”
