Early WWE RAW Preview – The Rock’s Return, Main Event

Here is what is on tap for RAW tonight:

* The Rock will return for his first appearance in a series of appearances leading up to WrestleMania 28 on April 1st. Nothing specific has been confirmed for the Rock tonight but it’s assumed that he’ll deliver a big promo aimed at John Cena. The arena is advertising the following about the Rock:

“Be prepared to be electrified as ‘the most electrifying man in entertainment,’ The Rock, will make his first ever visit to the city of Portland.”

* John Cena is set to be on the show. He’ll be at the Daytona 500 in the afternoon before heading to RAW.

* No matches have been announced yet, but a CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan Champion vs. Champion re-match has been teased.

* The Undertaker has not been advertised for tonight’s RAW. Triple H is. Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been advertised for next week’s RAW.

* Brodus Clay is being advertised for the taping tonight but it’s not known if he’ll appear on the televised portion of RAW. He returned to RAW at the weekend house shows.

* Randy Orton is scheduled to appear and be “re-evaluated” for a concussion. Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Big Show, and Cody Rhodes are also scheduled to work the taping.

* The advertised dark main events are WWE champion C.M. Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler and John Cena vs. Kane.
