Brendon Bronson of Omega Sports in Queensbury, NY, had been spending the past several weeks advertising appearances by former champions The Ultimate Warrior and Edge at his store in the Aviation Mall. Both retired superstars denied they had been booked for this appearance.
Omega Sports had also advertised a signing by former WWE star Rikishi, and had even pre-sold tickets for the appearance. When fans arrived at the Aviation Mall today for the scheduled appearance, they had found the store had been closed and all of its stock had been cleaned out. The store was open as late as yesterday, selling tickets for the event.
A source says that about 400 fans were waiting for Rikishi.
