Tajiri’s SMASH promotion in Japan has announced that they would be shutting down operations this March. Tajiri did state that all show scheduled through March would take place as scheduled, and that the promotion was closing due to issues within management.
Last week, word started going around that WWE was reaching out to cruiserweight talent for a show that they were planning for the WWE Network. Nothing is confirmed at this time, but Tajiri would certainly fit the bill for a show of that description.
