According to reports, the feeling backstage among the wrestlers is the John Cena is winning the war of words against the Rock. Many feel that Cena has stepped up his game in recent weeks. The feeling at RAW was that Rock “owned” Cena during his earlier promos but when it came to the stuff that was live, Cena got the better of him.
Word is that most of what both guys are saying in their promos is material and ideas they have come up with and not directives from creative.
