Joe Blanchard Passes Away, Warrior Note, Orton/Marine 3?. SD

— Joe Blanchard, the father of Tully Blanchard, passed away this morning at the age of 84. Blanchard owned the first promotion to run on the USA Network, Southwest Championship Wrestling, and in 2010, the NWA Legends Fanfest inducted Blanchard into their Hall of Heroes.

— The Ultimate Warrior appears for Northeast Wrestling tomorrow in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. He will do an in ring interview and also a pre-show autograph signing. Also scheduled for that show is: John Morrison vs. Finlay, Melina vs. Velvet Sky for the first time ever, Matt Hardy vs. Matt Taven, a six man Ladder match featuring Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lawler, Reby Sky, a Loser Leaves NEW bout with Vik Dalishus vs. Hale Collins and more.

— Randy Orton is being considered for the lead role in The Marine 3. Orton was originally set to star in The Marine 2 but was injured at the time and the role went to Ted DiBiase.

— WWE SmackDown will air live on Tuesday, April 10th at 8 PM ET on The Score in Canada. It’s also going to air live in the USA on Syfy.
