Shane “Hurricane” Helms offered an update on his condition via Twitter (@ShaneHelmsCom).
He wrote: “Every step is still pins & needles, but I’m just happy to be able to walk. :-) Never giving up!”
Helms and his girlfriend Karen were in a motorcycle accident in May of last year, which caused several broken bones and over 200 stitches.
Helms also posted several weeks ago that the two of them are expecting a baby.
