Backstage RAW News: Edge & Bearer, New Champion

— Paul Bearer was featured in a backstage segment on this week’s RAW. Randy Orton tied him up and locked him in a freezer. Bearer, who is very active on Twitter, didn’t give away his appearance on the show but said that today was going to be an “unusual one.” The following is from his official Twitter account: Paul Bearer @wweURNiverse Good Monday morning folks. — WWE Hall of Famer Edge made a surprise return to RAW in the opening segment with John Cena and John Laurinaitis. Interestingly enough, Edge mentioned he will no longer be under WWE contract in a couple of days.

— Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix Monday night on RAW to win the WWE Divas Championship. Beth was unable to beat the record for longest reigning Divas Champion held by former WWE Diva Maryse.
