More On Brock Lesnar & The Rock’s WWE Contracts, More

— After Randy Orton was removed from The Marine 3, WWE is considering CM Punk, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, JTG and Kofi Kingston for the role as we noted yesterday. Because the movie is being promoted with 20th Century Fox, WWE wanted a big named star in the movie. The sequel begins filming in June.

— As previously reported, Brock Lesnar’s WWE deal is believed to be for one-year, $5 million and for 30-40 appearance, which includes wrestling matches.

— Word is that even before Lesnar’s final UFC fight with Alistair Overeem, he had a $5 million deal waiting for him with WWE. Vince McMahon was said to be agreeable on the amount, but there was a lot of negotiating before both sides agreed on the number of appearances Lesnar would be obligated to make.

— The Rock has also signed a one-year contract, which will see him wrestle a few times this year, which does include WrestleMania 29.
