— As noted late last night here on the website, WWE Champion CM Punk revealed in an interview this weekend that Paul Heyman will be going to WWE headquarters in a few weeks to sit down with Punk and do commentary on some of his matches. The footage will be for Punk’s WWE DVD that comes out soon. Heyman will also be interviewed for the DVD.
— As most of you know by now, John Cena spoke to the crowd after beating Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules and made some hints about being forced off TV. There have been rumors (unconfirmed at this time) that Cena is in fact taking time off to heal from a few nagging injuries. Cena has been banged up for months now. He’s also been dealing with some family issues involving one of his brothers. It’s also possible he’s taking time off to do The Marine 3. We hope to have confirmation on what the deal is on Monday. Stay tuned and check back in often.
