WWE Live SmackDown Rating Is In + A Zack Ryder DVD

— WWE is launching a new DVD series that will start with releases for Zack Ryder and John Cena. The DVDs will be one disc sets that are part of the “Superstars Collection” and will retail for $10. The series is described as follows: “packed with never-before-seen footage and matches featuring Zack Ryder and mega-Superstar John Cena; a bold, new look that will pop off shelves! BIG VALUE. OUTSTANDING PRICE.”

— WWE’s live SmackDown episode last night did a 1.50 (1.5) cable rating, with 2.25 million viewers. That number is down 0.4 and 500,000 from last week’s Friday episode and down from a 1.67 rating for the last live SmackDown, which was on February 21st. The show ranked #13 among all shows on cable TV and #7 in the male 18 – 49 demo. In two key demos, males 18 – 34 and males 18 – 49, it was #1 for its first hour.
