— Ezekiel Jackson responded to a Twitter user relaying an online rumor that misbehavior backstage led WWE to abandon their plan to push the SmackDown Superstar again. He wrote, “Wow, and u witnessed this? Or rumours?” We have no idea what he’s talking about as we never reported that here.

— The May 5 episode of A.M. RAW garnered a 0.61 (0.6) cable rating, with 723,000 viewers.

— CM Punk returned home to Chicago Tuesday night to root for the Cubs at Wrigley Field. The WWE Champion threw out the honorary first pitch, showed off his title in the announce booth and lead the crowd in singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” for the seventh inning stretch. The Chicago Sun-Times published a large photo of the WWE Superstar in today’s edition.
