Media For 3-Hour RAW?, WWE’s Interactivity Update, More

— Morgan Spurlock’s latest documentary, Mansome, was released in select theaters today. The film looks at male grooming and features the grooming techniques of pro wrestlers. It includes names like Ken Anderson, Shawn Daivari, Colt Cabana and others. TNA said on iMPACT! that Dixie Carter also appears in the movie.

— The media has been giving attention to WWE for expanding RAW to three hours on July 23. John Cena, Kelly Kelly and Stephanie McMahon were at the USA Network upfront presentation yesterday.

— USA Network will be working with the Be A Star campaign with their own anti-bullying campaign.

— The Hartford Courant spoke with WWE Senior Vice President of Digital Operations, Jason Hoch about the WWE’s use of social media and more interactivity with fans. He mentioned Zack Ryder’s use of Twitter and Youtube to get over. He also said that WWE will launch “second screen” experiences for fans, which will likely launch with the expanded RAW. Second Screen is when an electronic device (such as an iPad, tablet or a smartphone) can stream additional content or interact with material on the television.
