WWE Takes Shot At Eric Bischoff, Barrett’s Film Role

— WWE.com took a dig at Eric Bischoff in an article about the company’s proposed cruiserweight TV show. The article says of Bischoff, “Through the crumbling of WCW and his own shameless self-promotion, Bischoff has become somewhat of a sports-entertainment punchline.” It then proceeds to call out WCW for hurting the division, saying, “they were considered cruiserweights and nothing more.”

— Wade Barrett is playing a supporting role in WWE Studios’ Dead Man Down starring Colin Ferrell, Noomi Rapace and Terrance Howard. Barrett has seen in pictures with Howard.

— July 14th at midnight will be the expiration date for the Bella’s 90 day no-compete clause, so they are free to join another promotion on Monday, July 30th.

— There was said to be a lot of “on the fly” booking at Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view and Monday’s RAW Supershow.
