WWE has announced that “Brock Lesnar’s camp” will respond to Triple H’s challenge to a match at SummerSlam on RAW tonight. The challenge was issued last night at No Way Out. Here is the WWE.com statement:
Brock Lesnar’s camp will offer its official response tonight to Triple H’s challenge for a match at SummerSlam, as first reported by WWE’s Breaking News mobile alert service. The WWE COO – whose arm Lesnar broke in late April – issued the challenge during Sunday night’s No Way Out pay-per-view.
Appearing to be Lesnar’s primary legal representative in negotiations with WWE, Paul Heyman returned to WWE in early May to inform Triple H in that Lesnar had quit and sued the company, claiming breach of contract. After an irate Triple H grabbed Heyman by the face, the notoriously litigious former manager also sued the WWE COO on grounds of battery.
At No Way Out, however, The Game made clear that he is looking to settle the score not in the court room but in the squared circle at the 25th Anniversary of SummerSlam.
“I’m proposing we put all this legal crap behind us,” Triple H said. “We’re fighters, Brock, and I want to fight you. I want to fight you bad, Brock. Brock Lesnar versus Triple H at SummerSlam. Let’s do this. Let’s fight!”
Will The Game’s challenge sufficiently entice the hard-boiled Lesnar? Tune in to Raw SuperShow tonight at 9/8 CT to find out!
