JBL posted the following on his Facebook today…
310 flights of stairs today here in NYC, took 2 hours 44 minutes. I leave Tuesday for Russia and gonna spend all day Monday at WWE headquarters getting all my technology I need for Mt Elbrus so I can send stuff back (videos and pics). I think I am going to do a couple of other things for TV there while I am there, probably DVDs to be released is my guess.
So I only have Sunday and Tuesday left to train. Summit day is scheduled for June 28th I think, so I still need a couple of really intense sessions before I back off to allow myself to recover.
Climbing for over 2 1/2 hours in a stairwell is not very interesting-but gotta train my mind also to just keep chugging along. Summit day is a 16 hour day.
Fox News did a great thing for the Seven Summits today, was really cool of them to support me and the kids I am climbing for—as WWE has made all this possible.
I’ve been to war zones and six different continents with WWE, I figure I can go to the top of the world with them since it has been a great ride so far!
Got all my gear bought and ready to be packed, have no idea what all this stuff is and what all I will really need. Can’t wait to get to the mountain and climb!!
Yum Yum Come get you Some Big Mountain-JBL is heading to Russia!
