— Here is the latest on Charlie Sheen and WWE. According to WWE sources, when Sheen agreed to become the 1,000th RAW Social Media Ambassador, he also agreed to appear at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. The word is that he backed out of SummerSlam about two weeks later. The reason he gave was due to scheduling issues. The original plan called for Sheen to get involved in some sort of physical confrontation with Daniel Bryan at the event. This obviously would have gained WWE a ton of mainstream media coverage. As of now, WWE is still in talks with Sheen about appearing at a future event, likely a pay-per-view. As many of you know, Charlie Sheen has a new show on FX titled “Anger Management”. With Daniel Bryan taking “anger management” classes beginning next week on RAW, this will likely lead to something between the two.
— Despite both of them being advertised for the show, Rey Mysterio and Triple H did not appear at the Bakersfield, CA SmackDown tapings last night.
