Backstage Update: Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar WWE Futures

As noted earlier here on the website, Shawn Michaels is expected to appear on WWE TV heading into SummerSlam to help with the build to the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match.

Paul Heyman’s current deal with WWE is rumored to expire at SummerSlam, but the feeling is that he will continue to work with WWE alongside Brock Lesnar after the pay-per-view.

The feeling is that when Brock Lesnar’s contract expires, WWE will offer him a contract extension. Some feel that it will be costly for WWE to do so, but the company feels that they can utilize Lesnar to sell more high profile matches beyond WrestleMania as well as continue to help put over other WWE talents in feuds with Lesnar.
