— TNA World Champion Austin Aries will defend the title against Bobby Roode at Sunday’s TNA Hardcore Justice PPV. TNA is holding a live event in Bowie, Maryland on September 1st and sent out advertising for the show listing Austin Aries as the “Former TNA Champion.”
At this time, it is not known if this was an error or if TNA accidentally leaked plans to take the title of Aries. TNA found out about the situation and the advertising was revised and the billing for Austin Aries was changed to “TNA World Heavyweight Champion.”
