— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE is planning to change up their programming in Japan, which currently airs ten days after they do in the US.
— As noted earlier here on the website, AJ’s first act as General Manager on the 1,000th RAW was planned to be her granting The Rock a WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble. The storyline was nixed due to time constraints and The Rock announced it himself. The company is currently planning to downplay The Rock’s title shot until after the Survivor Series is done with in mid-November. That will allow the company to promote shows without the media being caught up over The Rock’s title match. Officials also want the PPV to be sold out by November.
— Linda McMahon recently released her 2011 tax returns as well as Vince McMahon’s. Their tax returns show they earned $24.1 million in 2011, down from the $30 million they earned in the 2010 fiscal year.
The return was released today and was done so McMahon could silence her critics as she is running again for Senator in Connecticut. The return is expected to be amended as the husband and wife are awaiting news on their investment income. The McMahons paid $3.6 million in federal taxes and $1.72 million in state taxes last year, so their Federal rate is under 15%, but rounded up it is 15%.
