— There was talk this week at RAW that WWE could be dropping the Funkasaurus gimmick for Brodus Clay. Word is that WWE has been looking to give Clay’s character more of an edge and dropping his dancing gimmick would be part of that. Clay will be appearing in the upcoming WWE Studios horror movie “No One Lives,” so the change could play into promotion for that film.
— WWE returns to Full Sail University in Florida tonight for the latest set of NXT TV tapings. Sin Cara and Ryback are announced as appearing, along with “WWE Divas.” Jim Ross will be calling the top matches on the show, and this show will feature the fallout from the NXT Title Tournament.
