— Zim sent this one in: Adam Pearce pinned Colt Cabana to retain the NWA Championship. Pearce won after two piledrivers. A good match, but it was cut slightly short because the chain broke off Cabana’s collar. Pearce was accompanied by Bobby Cruise from Ring of Honor. Prior to the match Pearce had Cruise read a list of “Jews more famous and successful than Colt Cabana”. The list included Jews and non-Jews such as Jon Stewart Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis Jr., Roseanne Barr, and Amy Winehouse, among many others. The reading of the list lasted up to ten minutes long and was reminiscent of the Chris Jericho 1001 holds promo. Good stuff. Cabana got the expected great reaction and got color during the match. After the match, Pearce delivered a third and final piledriver onto the title belt. On a personal note, I hated seeing three piledrivers in one match. Scary move.
