— Daniel Bryan & Kane defeated Kofi Kingston & R-Truth to win the tag-team titles at the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view. The title win ended Kofi & Truth’s lengthy title reign dating back to the end of April of 2012.
— On the WWE Night of Champions pre-show, Ted DiBiase returned for the first time since March of 2012. DiBiase competed in a #1 contender battle royal for a shot at the U.S. Title on the actual pay-per-view.
— Eve Torres, who replaced Kaitlyn, defeated Layla to win the Divas Title at the Night of Champions pay-per-view on Sunday night. WWE ran an angle at the event where Kaitlyn was injured by a “mystery attacker” and Eve Torres took her place.
