CM Punk’s DVD To Screen, John Cena Heel Turn/ESPN?, More

— CM Punk’s WWE DVD/Blu-Ray “CM Punk: Best in the World” will be screened at the Portage Theater in Chicago. Punk will attend the screening, which will be on October 7th from 1 to 3 PM. The first 1,000 fans get in free; more info is available here.

— ESPN’s Robert Flores recently appeared on the MLW Podcast with Mister Saint Laurent and discussed his conversations with John Cena about whether Cena would ever turn heel. Flores says that Cena is holding back because of his charity work.

Flores said, “I’ve talked to John Cena about this and he doesn’t really want to because he does so much charity work and I think he thinks it would affect that and maybe it would, but I would just love to see him turn heel. I see guys like Miz and David Otunga, guys that are ‘heels,’ still continue to be involved with the company’s charity initiatives, so obviously Cena is on a different level when compared to those guys, but just being selfish as a fan, I think it would be fascinating TV to see him just turn heel and see the reaction it would get.”
