Kurt Angle Posts Update On Leg Injury + ROH TV Tapings

“Survival of the Fittest 2012” goes down THIS Saturday night at The Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD as part of our next “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Tapings! This is the last scheduled Baltimore event for 2012 so we are going out with a bang!

In addition to the SOTF matches already set, it is now confirmed that “The American Wolf” Davey Richards will take on “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett in the final Qualifying Match! It is known that if Davey wins SOTF, he cannot challenge for the ROH World Title as long as Kevin Steen is champion. We will have to see how this plays out and if Richards wins, how long will he have to wait for a new champion before he challenges for the title?

We can also confirm that Adam Cole will wrestle Tadarius Thomas in his “Survival of the Fittest 2012” Qualifying Match after Thomas defeated Silas Young at “Death Before Dishonor X” on Saturday to earn his spot in the tournament.

In non-tournament matches taking place this weekend, we know that Jay & Mark Briscoe will be in action versus The Bravado Brothers, and we have also been told that S.C.U.M will be put to the test as Kevin Steen will defend the ROH World Championship AND Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino will also defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships!!!
