— During the WWE Monday Night RAW taping in Montreal, Brodus Clay was described as being “legitimately sad” that he did so poorly in the WWE Universe Twitter vote on who would face WWE Champion CM Punk. As noted earlier, WWE vetern Booker T saw how he was acting and started ribbing him about it. Clay then reportedly told Booker to leave him alone.
— As noted earlier here on the website, the backstage scene at the RAW taping in Montreal as everyone being very upset and shocked when Jerry Lawler suffered a heart attack at ringside. Triple H and Rey Mysterio were seen crying as they watched Lawler being worked on. As reported on earlier, Triple H was in charge of the backstage area and was the first to see just how serious the situation was. Bret Hart was reportedly no where near the scene and didn’t even realize what had happened until moments before the final segment of the show.
— The referee in the main event for RAW on 9/17 for CM Punk vs. John Cena was Brent Wellington, known as Brad Maddox in FCW. Wellington never trained as a referee in Florida. He signed a development deal with WWE back in 2010.
