— As reported yesterday, Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2,861,000, up slightly from the week before. The show drew a 1.95 (2.0) cable rating, down a hair from the 1.96 rating the week before. The show finished #1 in all key male demographics among cable shows for the night, as well as the adult 18 – 49 demo. It was #2 in overall viewers behind FOX News.

— After RAW went off the air Monday, WWE Champion CM Punk faced World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in a non-title Champion vs. Champion Match. Sheamus won via disqualification due to Punk striking him with the WWE Championship. Following the bout, Paul Heyman proclaimed that Punk is still WWE Champion as well as “Best in the World.” Sheamus delivered a Brogue Kick to Punk to conclude the evening.
