— Variety reports that the success of WrestleMania 28 led to the company’s deal with the Rolling Stones. Promoters of the Stones’ tour wanted to team with WWE after WrestleMania became such a huge success, “proving it can turn live events throughout the year, including its biggest show, WrestleMania, into major moneymakers through PPV.” The company has been looking to expand its production aspects outside of wrestling for a while, and the Stones concert appears to be among the first of those.

— WWE’s creative department wrote two different scripts for tonight’s RAW. According to sources, one script is contingent upon John Cena being medically cleared to compete at Hell in a Cell on Oct. 28 after undergoing surgery on his arm. The other script will be used if he is not able to compete at the pay-per-view event.
