Backstage Update – Chris Jericho’s WWE Future

At this time, it is expected that Chris Jericho will return to the WWE sometime in the future, but it will be when Fozzy is on an extended break. Jericho’s return earlier this year was when he didn’t have anything going on with music and was only supposed to be there for six months. When the release of Fozzy’s album was delayed, he extended his stay.

WWE is only interested in using Jericho if he can commit to them exclusively for extended periods of time. It was WWE that ended their most recent negotiations with Jericho.

Jericho has noted that he will not be at WrestleMania 29 due to Fozzy touring Australia in February and March.
