Backstage Update – John Cena’s Hell In A Cell Plans

WWE has been discussing a new creative direction for John Cena at the Hell in a Cell PPV. One scenario that has at least been discussed would be to have John Cena referee the Hell in a Cell between WWE Champion CM Punk and Ryback.

At this time, it is believed that John Cena’s elbow is healing much slower than expected. No decisions have been made at this time, but with the angle being that CM Punk has to decide on an opponent on Monday’s RAW, there is pressure on WWE creative to make a decision.
