Backstage Update: Shaul Guerrero’s WWE Status + RAW

— As we noted earlier here on the website, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who infamously struck “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka on the head with a coconut, has written the foreward for the Fijian wrestler’s autobiography. Mick Foley also penned an introduction for the book, which is scheduled for release in a few months.

— Last week’s RAW finished in the Top 10 of the Top 25 cable TV shows for the week of September 24-30. RAW’s second hour ranked #6, the first hour ranked #9 and the third hour ranked #10.

— Shaul Guerrero’s status is unknown at this time. She was believed to be released by WWE over the weekend and tweeted a message on Monday saying, “Thank you all for your love and support, WWE has been one of the highlights of my life. I learned so much and consider them family.”

According to sources, Diaz is still under WWE contract, despite her leaving developmental and stopping her training. WWE officials are hopeful that she just needs time off and will eventually return.
