— Brittney Savage, who has competed for numerous Northeast-based independent wrestling promotions, was among those trying out for WWE at an evaluation session in Tampa, Florida over the weekend. She has appeared for WWE in the past as an enhancement wrestler as she lost to Beth Phoenix on the November 6, 2009 episode of SmackDown. She also competed in a tag team with AJ Lee when the now-popular Diva was an independent wrestler. The Raw General Manager wished Savage well in her tryout, tweeting, “Go kick some ass.”
