What Happened After RAW – Jim Ross Celebration + More

Following this week’s WWE RAW telecast, Vince McMahon and Triple H came to the ring for “Jim Ross Appreciation Night”. We know that the locker-room came out afterwards and applauded Ross. There was also a pre-recorded video message from Jerry Lawler. Danny Hodge, Bill Watts and OU coach Bob Stoops all appeared as well … we believe via a pre-recorded video. It may have been a long video package featuring numerous talents. Sheamus presented JR with a “Voice of the WWE” award as well. CM Punk then came out to “crash” the celebration.

Following the JR segment, Sheamus defeated CM Punk via DQ. No word on if this was taped for WWE “Main Event” as they didn’t tape anything before the show. It’s possible the weekly post-RAW dark matches will be the “Main Event” matches but we’re not sure about that just yet.
