— UFC President Dana White announced at the UFC 155 post-fight press conference that if Michael Bisping defeats Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 7 on January 19th, then Bisping will get the next middleweight title shot against reigning champion Anderson Silva. Michael Bisping defeated Brian Stann by decision at UFC 152. Belfort moved up in weight to face Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title at UFC 152 where he lost by submission in the fourth round.

— UFC President Dana White and the UFC announced the live gate for UFC 155 at the post-fight press conference. The event drew an attendance of 12,423 people. The live gate was $3.286 million. UFC 155 was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
