— WWE tapes SmackDown and Main Event tomorrow in Miami, FL. The Rock is expected to appear in his hometown. John Cena, CM Punk and numerous other RAW talents are also being advertised for the TV tapings.
— The Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio will continue to be the direction WWE goes into for the Royal Rumble as the early RAW script for tonight continues the angle. It should also be noted that as of last week, there were plans in place to shoot a major angle to close out the show tonight. One source said the segment would be one that would “have everyone buzzing”. No word on if that angle is still in the cards. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
— WWE is facing VERY tough competition tonight with the BCS National Championship game featuring Notre Dame vs. Alabama airing on ESPN at 8PM EST. The game will go head-to-head with RAW. More on this shortly.
