As seen during Monday’s WWE RAW broadcast, the “Spinner” WWE Championship belt era came to an end.
During The Rock’s show-ending celebration, The Rock said he’s going to WrestleMania 29, but not with the spinner WWE Championship belt that John Cena unveiled 8 years ago.
The Rock debuted a new WWE Championship belt on RAW that he said was worthy of the great champions that came before him, like Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart and Steve Austin.
It’s worth noting that The Rock’s new WWE Championship belt has Brahma Bulls on the side plates, so it’s possible this belt will be replaced when The Rock eventually drops the WWE title. Keep in mind the side plates can always be replaced to reflect the current WWE champion. This is also the same title belt that we posted a photo of months ago. The middle plate was still being worked on at that time.
