The Rock spoke following the Elimination Chamber PPV last night. Here is what he had to say…
“You’re fired up after a night like this. We live to entertain audiences. And audiences like this tonight in New Orleans, who all night long to all the matches and all the guys and girls who work hard and give everything they have emotionally.
“At the end of the night, to close the show out with a guy who I respect, who has been champion for a very long time – and it’s hard to do in our business, which everyone out there knows, whether they’re a casual fan or if they’re more than a casual fan, they understand how difficult that is. So, I give it up for Punk – or Phil – but to go out tonight and do what we did and leave it all there is a great feeling.”
