— Not including the UK tour, TNA’s average live event attendance in January 2013 went down 54% to 550 from the 1200 in January 2012. iMPACT! in January 2012 averaged a 1.15 rating and 1.61 million viewers but in January 2013 it averaged a 1.12 rating with 1.53 million viewers.
— As noted Wednesday morning here on the website, Jules Wortman was fired as VP of Public Relations in TNA Wrestling. Wortman, whom reported directly to Dixie Carter, also runs her own Public Relations firm called Worman Works. She was fired over something that happened over TNA Lockdown weekend. Wortman’s TNA departure comes on the heels of Chris Thomas giving his notice that he was leaving the company for another job in Hollywood. Thomas was someone that routinely handled the media for TNA and had been in touch with us numerous times.
