‘The Call’ Expected To Be Most Successful WWE Film & More

— As we exclusively reported on Friday, March 22nd, WWE released long-time referee Jack Doan on either Thursday or Friday. Besides Mike Chioda, Doan was the longest tenured referee in WWE as Doan has refereed for them since 1991. As of this writing, there is still no word on why WWE released Doan but it came as a shock to many.

— WWE Studios’ “The Call” is on pace to generate another $9 million at the box office this week making it the most successful WWE related film to date. The film has already generated an estimated $24 million with a listed production budget of $13 million.
