As noted late last night here on the website, it appears that John Cena worked the second half of the WWE European Tour with his heel injury. At this time, it is believed that Cena suffered the injury on April 21st in a tables match with Ryback. Following that injury, Cena continued to work the tour, but was placed in six-man matches with Kane and Daniel Bryan, teaming up against Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Big E. Langston. The injury was also why he was protected on last week’s edition of Raw from London, and kept out of the dark main event.
Cena posted the following on Twitter today…
Up and at em’ @WWE its #worldwishday and I’m in NYC for something special, then 2 #raw I WILL be there tonight! Hobbling or not #nevergiveup
