Matt Tremont has been pulled from the June 8 CZW Tournament of Death due to a health issue. As part of new rules for the state of Delaware, anyone in a Death Match style show is required to have a blood test. Tremont can’t be cleared with the normal blood test due to a health issue with his Pancreas. He had another test, but the results won’t be in until after June 8 so he can’t compete.
The promotion has now re-ordered the first round of the tournament. Joe Gacy was also pulled as part of the changes.
Here are the matches:
* Ultraviolent Dog Collar Match: CZW champion MASADA vs. Ron Mathis.
* Mummified Barbed Wire Match: Danny Havoc vs. Rory Mondo.
* Ultraviolent Ladders Match: Lucky tHURteen vs. Scotty Vortekz
* International Panes of Glass: CZW owner DJ Hyde vs. Takumi Tsukamoto from Big Japan.
Masada will still compete even with a torn meniscus that needs surgery.
CZW also announced that the card will be Sami Callihan’s official farewell with the promotion as he has signed with WWE.
