— NXT star Bray Wyatt has been wearing a protective mask recently; including the NXT tapings last Thursday and the weekend WWE live events. Wyatt is wearing the mask as a temporary measure to protect a broken nose he suffered in a match with Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero).
Wyatt confirmed that the mask is only temporary with the following tweets.
In response to a fan, “Listen to your fans dude. Remove that god awful mask”, Wyatt said, “broken nose, that is all.”
When asked by another fan, “OMG did you break it at the Punta Gorda match vs Ohno? I was there when you got the bloody nose”, he replied, “yes.”
