Sami Callihan & DGUSA Part Ways + DGUSA Talent To WWE?

— The ECW documentary Barbed Wire City will screen tonight at the Pickwick Theater in Chicago. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with directors Kevin Kiernan, John Philapavage and former ECW stars Raven and Perry Saturn. The film has also been submitted to several film festivals.

— Sami Callihan, who WWE has a lot of interest in, is said to be finished with Dragon Gate USA & EVOLVE. The company was planning for his exit for some time, which is why the Johnny Gargano vs. Callihan match was rushed onto the December 2012 EVOLVE event. The match was originally going to headline WrestleCon. Callihan is still technically under contract, but the company will release him if he signs with WWE.

— There’s talk that WWE is closing in on signing at least one other DGUSA/EVOLVE regular.

— It appears as if Caleb Konley will be in for a big push. Gabe Sapolsky saw Konley’s performance at the CZW Best of the Best tournament earlier this week and reportedly has a new interest in him.
