It was reported in early May that WWE had informed William “Paul Bearer” Moody’s family that they intend to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame next year in New Orleans. According to the UK Sun, WWE has confirmed that news.
There is a lot of speculation as to who will induct Moody into the Hall of Fame, but the candidates look to be The Undertaker, Michael Hayes and Vince McMahon. Traditionally, ‘Taker does not appear publicly at the Hall of Fame ceremony, due to WWE protecting the aura of his on-screen personality, but he may be the one to do the speech, due to their long-term friendship. Hayes and Moody actually had a relationship from before they were in the wrestling business.
