— Former WCW competitor Alex Wright turns 38-years-old today. Today, he is the owner of a wrestling promotion in his native Germany, New European Championship Wrestling, and still occasionally competes.

— The Rock has confirmed on Twitter that he will play Luke Cage in a future Marvel movie. He wrote:

— This week’s episode of WWE Superstars features the televised return of Sin Cara, who had been sidelined since March due to a concussion suffered in a match with Jack Swagger. In his return, the masked wrestler squares off against Michael McGillicutty, footage of which is available below.
