According to one source, good luck, not the WWE writers or even the McMahon’s, should be credited for the recent quality of the current WWE television product.
The source claims the Mark Henry “retirement swerve,” as it was scripted, was good but not as great as it turned out. The credit in that situation goes to Mark Henry, who some claim took the entire segment in a direction that wasn’t planned, and that nobody saw coming.
The June 24th edition of WWE RAW, for the first time in weeks, had minimal changes from the final draft of the script to the version that ends up used for the show itself. John Cena and CM Punk in particular had already gone through and approved their own segments before the final scripts were even presented that evening.
