— Madison Square Garden’s owners are aggressively pitching a plan to take over the Nassau Coliseum. The idea is to renovate it, and rebrand it as Long Island Live.

— WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund was backstage at the SmackDown tapings last night. The tapings took place at the Nassau Coliseum. Backlund did the same thing at Monday’s RAW and at a live event in Poughkeepsie, NY over the weekend.
