Despite recent reports indicating that Randy Orton makes an $291,666 per month, his base downside salary is likely $1 million per year with his total salary is significantly higher when considering all revenue streams, including merchandise.

A source with knowledge of wrestler salaries called the TMZ report “laughable” that Orton would be making that much on a monthly average but didn’t discount that there may have been specific months where he reached that figure. It is a common assumption that no wrestlers are contracted for more than $1 million per year, except major “attractions” like The Rock and Brock Lesnar.
