As noted earlier, WWE officials were very happy with the debut of The Wyatt Family on Monday night during RAW. As of this writing, current plans call for The Wyatt Family to be involved in a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam against Kane and two yet to be named partners. A lot of this all depends on The Undertaker and whether or not he will be ready to go in time for the big pay-per-view. As of now, it doesn’t appear that ‘Taker will be working the match at SummerSlam.
Speaking of The Undertaker, he was originally booked to begin an angle with The Shield following WrestleMania 29. During the beginning stages of the feud, ‘Taker injured himself on the spot with the announcer’s table and those plans were scrapped.
ORIGINAL: Following the “attack” on Kane during last night’s WWE RAW broadcast, there was a lot of speculation that the angle was leading towards a Wyatt Family vs. Kane and The Undertaker feud/match at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view in August.
According to a WWE source, The Undertaker is not healthy right now and may not be ready to return in time for SummerSlam. The source notes that the new injury took place during ‘Taker’s last TV angle, when The Shield took him out.
We hope to have more soon. Stay tuned!
