— For the past two years, TV rights fees have been the top revenue stream. As reported earlier today, TV revenues were up 17% in the quarter, which was due to the addition of WWE Main Event and the additional hour of Raw.
TV rights fees and live events are both up thus far in 2013, while PPV is down $2.1 million. In the report from earlier today, the company was down 346,000 buys in the quarter as compared to 2012. PPV revenues were $37.1 million as compared to $40.8 million in the prior year quarter, representing a $3.7 million decline. There was one less PPV in this quarter as opposed to 2012, but even if you factor in the 167,000 buys that the 2012 Over the Limit PPV did, the numbers are still down.
